Jacfruit is a local produce farm in Mauritius.

Jacfruit has taken an innovative stance to farming, by growing food indoors, vertically and in controlled climates. This growing method allows us to grow in small spaces, grow unique crops, grow 365 days of the year and most importantly, gives traceability to the consumer.

We ensure that each step of the growing process is traceable for the benefit of the consumer by doing it ourselves. What is traceability? – when and where the product was produced and by whom.

Currently Jacfruit produces organic leafy greens:

• Lettuce
• Spinach
• Microgreens

Jacfruit aims to bring consistency, reliability and traceability to the food market in Mauritius. We aim to be the first turnkey farm in Mauritius. To achieve that Jacfruit will be in complete control of the entire growing process, the delivery and merchandising.
